Hi all,

Not sure how active this board is but figured I'd make an introduction and lurk for bit until we're ready to ttc. I'm 33, my partner and I have a 3yr old son and we were trying for our second. I got pregnant after 3 months of trying and it ended in a miscarriage last wednesday at 6 weeks.

He's ready to try again whenever I'm ready and healed but it's so hard. We dtd last night for the first time in weeks (we hadn't done it since finding out I was pregnant) and I cried afterwards because it's so mentally hard. Miscarriage isn't fair, I don't care how common or natural it is.

Thinking about waiting until everything is healed and trying again next cycle. I only bled for 6 days and when I went to the er, my numbers were 167, so my guess is the pregnancy stopped developing a week or so prior. We'll see how it goes.

I'm sorry for you loss. Miscarriages are hard but i find comfort in knowing God makes no mistakes and everything happens for a reason. I know that won't help right now but over time it does get easier.r
