About 4 weeks ago I miscarried at about 6 1/2 weeks. I bled for about 3 weeks (the last week was spotting). I finally got to stop wearing a pad last Tuesday. I was very excited. Four days later (on Friday) I started bleeding again. It is bright red and VERY heavy. Has this happened to anyone? I can't find anything on internet with info. Thank in advanced for all your help.

Christine

I haven't heard of that, but then again I'm new to this whole mc thing. I'd call your Dr right away. Did you have a D&C? It is possible that if you haven't had one you may need one. My Dr said that if the heavy bleeding and cramping doesn't stop it might mean that you still have tissue in you and your body is trying to get it out by bleeding. I'd call your Dr.
Good luck, and let us know how it goes!

Sounds exactly like what happened to me.... your first AF might be here. I got my AF almost exactly 4 weeks after my d&c. I bled VERY hard with lots of clots. I called the doctor out of fear but he assured me that your first AF after a m/c can be heavy.
