Well Im new to this board.Im back in the ttc after MC.Heres my story..I was 6 weeks pg and went for an early US because of spotting they said it didnt look good. There was no fetal pole and no heartbeat so to wait a week and come back.We went back in a week and the fetal pole was there and a heartrate of 124.So i figured I was fine.Went in a week later and there was no heartbeat at all and no growth what so ever. This is exactly what happen my last MC.Has anyone had the same thing happen to the twice? Is this common?I think since i cant carry from 7 weeks on theres something wrong with me.They are going to be doing a workup which includes alot of tests.Blood, progesterone, tests on uterus to see if anything is wrong. They also will do tests on BF for chormosome problems.Have any of you had any of this done? What was your outcome? And what should I expect?Sorry so many questions just so much going through my mind today..its horrible

I am so sorry for your loss.......I don't have any answers to your questions, but I am here for you if you need to talk. I had one m/c in mid April. It's very sad for me.

Take care of yourself,
Steph

(((HUGS)))) I'm so sorry you are going through this again. I can understand the hurt and confusion you are feeling. My dh & I both had genetic testing done after we lost Hope at five months - everything came back normal for us, just some random fluke caused the problem. I hope that is the case here, but you are right to wonder whether the two could possibly be connected. I'm glad you are having lots of tests done. I'll be praying for the best possible outcome for you. Take care of yourself - and allow yourself to heal. We're here for you if you need us.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I had a m/c at 6 weeks also. I went to the ER because I started spotting and the next day I went to the dr and there wasn't a baby in there. It is the harded thing that I have ever been though.

I hope you find out something when you get your tests back even if it's just that everything is normal.

Again I'm sorry for your loss!!

Angie

Hello,

I have had 2 m /c's also. I cant carry past 5 weeks. So they did blood work on me, and it came back normal. But I still got progesterone suppositories. I hope they find out whats wrong. I know it awful not knowing, and wondering will this happen again.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I've had 2 m/c's and am currently going through the testing. I have a 3 year old son so that's probably why they're not doing genetic testing. However, I've had the fasting insulin and clotting tests done. I go in on Monday for an SHG (uterine u/s to check for growths, etc).
