Hi all! I posted here a while back when I got pregnant but I miscarried at around 7 weeks and then didn't have the heart to come back for a while. Anyway, I have a problem (who doesn't?).

The first pregnancy was was a surprise pregnancy for my husband and myself, but we got really excited about it and really into the idea of being parents. After I miscarried, we waited the time the doctor reccommended and talked it over and decided that we are financially and emotionally as ready as we can be to have a child - the first pregnancy really made us think about it a lot. We didn't want to track cycles or do anything out of the ordinary - just not use any protection and allow it to happen very naturally.

Before the miscarriage, ever since I was 11, I had a regular 26-day cycle every single month. Never missed once. I was a day late in August 2006, which was an INCREDIBLY stressful month for me, so that made sense. After the miscarriage, it went to a 27-day cycle from December through Februrary, which was the first month the doctor said it was okay to try again. My period was due between the 2nd and 4th of this month. Since I'm so regular (and now 2 days late) I took a test last night. I know you're not supposed to take them at night but in the morning - but with the first one I took it at night and it showed up right away. The one last night was negative.

And ARGH, I couldn't sleep last night with all this on my mind. I'm afraid something is wrong with my body since I'm ALWAYS so regular - even after the miscarriage my body snapped right back into it right away. So since I've been up all night it won't be "taking it first thing in the morning" if I do it right now. I know this isn't abnormal for a lot of women, but it definitely is abnormal for me to be late at all.

I also had cramping around the day I should have started and then that went away and since then I haven't felt anything. (this happened with the first one)

Sorry, guys! I just needed somewhere to let it all out! I babbled it all to Jordan but since he's a guy, all he could do was offer me a hug and a couple helpful "I love you, everything's going to be okay" statements.

Anybody have any insight, or similar experience? Or just want to predict whether I'm pregnant or not? I'm probably going to call the doctor this morning, better safe than sorry, and schedule an appointment for next week just in case I either get a + OR a - with a no-show period.

Sorry for your loss hun, and even through your body got back to normal after the m/c doesnt mean it will stay that way hun. Also being your back to TTC this cycle the stress may have affected when you ovulated, hence making your cycles longer. I really wouldnt stress over it too much hun, I would just keep BDing and then in a couple weeks nothing call your dr. Your body went through a lot with the miscarriage so its bound to have some kinks its gotta work out.

Sorry things are so mixed up. I'm with you, my period is 7 days late and I am still getting BFN's, and I used to be very regular.

I used to be very regular too, even last summer after they removed the ectopic AF showed up 2 days later and then I was back to a regular schedule. This time, they took the ectopic on Feb 13th, and no AF. I did have ovulation-type pains last week, and THEN got EWCM a few days ago (weird, I know, should be the other way around) but it's not like I have a chance of getting pg right now anyway, missing my right tube and my left tube is currently in question as to whether part of it has re-grown or if that tissue is something else. And AF still hasn't shown up. GRRR!!!!! It'd be nice if at least something went back to normal!

Thanks, guys . . . It's good to know I'm not alone in this. And hard not to get frustrated and mad at my uterus!

BTW, greenchild - your doggies are ADORABLE! I have a Rottie mix named Balto who's a big bundle of love.
