I met with the doctor today for my follow-up. He said chances are it is just random and the next pregnancy would be just fine. But he said it wouldn't hurt to run a few tests just in case. So after my next af, I will be having the hsg test to check the lining of the uterus and the tubes. He said since I've had 2 c-sections there is a slim possibility that there could be some scar tissue causing problems. And then after I ovulate I'll be having some blood tests to check my progesterone and also for some antibodies that can cause problems. From what I've googled it all sounds very standard. Unfortunately it means I can't ttc for at least 2 cycles, but I figured that was the case. So now I guess it is just a matter of waiting.. :\

hmmm....did he say why you can't TTC? i had a hsg and bloodwork and my dr told me that the month i got it done i had the best chance to get preg because most women are more fertile after the procedure. hopefully your tests will all come back normal~ good luck!!

I think the thing is I am not really having problems getting pregnant, it's staying pregnant. He didn't really say not to try that cycle, but he said we would be doing blood tests after the hsg and wouldn't really evaluate the results until I got the following af (specifically for the progesterone to know if we tested at the right time). Does that make sense? I'd be worried about getting pregnant and then finding out that there is something we need to do before getting pregnant to help my chances, kwim? I guess I'll double check with him at my next appointment just in case though.
