Ok, so I have a question about OPK usage. What are the chances that you get all negative OPK's but still ovulate? The reason I am asking is because all of my OPK's have been negative but I'm not so sure they're right. Granted, it's still early for me, I generally don't O until later in my cycle, but things are just odd. When I first started the OPK's, there was no line, and then I started to see a light line, and it did get a bit darker, but never near the darkness of the control line. Today though, there was the faintest of faint lines, lighter than they were before I started seeing double lines. huh.gif So, I'm wondering if maybe I did O and I missed it, or maybe I just haven't O'd yet at all which is probably most likely. How sensitive are these things?

I'm feeling very nauseous this afternoon, and I don't know why....is that a sign of ovulation?

I only used OPK's this cycle, but here is my experience with them, The first two days I used them, no line at all just the control, then next day there was a line, not faint but not darker then the control which would also be a neg, then the fourth day I got a line that was def darker then the control and that was my positive, then I took one last night (5 DPO b/c I always feel the need to pee on something LOL)and that had a very faint line which was a neg, but it was there.........soooo if that wasn't confusing right?!?! So I am not really sure if you missed your window or not??Did you BD in the time that you were seeing something on the OPK's? I am all so new to this, I only charted CM b4, I do hope that you caught that eggie Good Luck!!!

How often did you test? After awhile I got to know my cycles, which ovary would ovulate on which CD, or anyway that was my guess, who know if I was right!
But I do remember that one day I tested at noon and it was neg, and retested later that day around 6pm and it was positive. They recommend testing at the same time of the day each day, so depending on when you tested, if it was in the morning one day and at night the next day you could have missed your surge. HTH!!

I generally test at about 2pm every day. I have tested a couple different times in the same day just because I wanted to see if there was a difference, so 2pm the first time and around 5pm the second time. Most days however are just once. It is very possible that it's just too early for me to O, but because I didn't O the last two cycles, I guess I'm a little antsy about it, and fearing that I won't O again this time around! You can see my last two charts with no O on the same charting page.

Thanks!

it's possible to O without ever seeing a pos OPK. but since you don't O till later in your cycles it's possiblt thta you just haven't had your surge yet. your chart doesn't look like you O'd yet so just keep testing and bding. i'm crossing my fingers for you! good luck!
