I asked a few girls over in the pregnancy loss board this same question as well. My doctor didn't give me any instructions for post-op besides "take it easy this weekend". I have heard so many conflicting stories...some places say a week, some say 2, some say more. What is your experience with this? Quite frankly, I feel ready..but am also nervous because I have heard it's pretty uncomfortable after all this...

First time around I had a laparascopy and a hysteroscopy on a Thurs, and we DTD Sat morning with no problems. Then this last time, I had just the laparascopy and they said to wait a week, and we did, and it was very uncomfortable to say the least.
If you feel you're ready, I'd say go for it, but if it starts to get uncomfortable you can always choose to finish by other methods . HTH!

we bd'd as soon as the bleeding stopped. you shouldn't bd while you're still bleeding or it could cause infection. but as long as it has stopped and you feel ready emotionally then it's okay. i personally did not have any discomfort the first time at all, but if you do then like greenchild said you can always finish by other methods. i'm so sorry for your loss!

Me too, after the bleeding stopped. I didn't have a D&C though, just a regular miscarriage. It wasn't uncomfortable, it was more psychologically hard to feel "sexy" again, but DH made things easy on me since he is so easygoing.
