How long after a m/c does the bleeding take place? Just wondering. TIA.

I had a D&C...so it may be different for a natural miscarriage compared to D&C. For me, I bled light for 2 days, then more heavy, like a regular period for about 4 days, finally stopped as of today...seems to anyways!
