crossposted in fertility charting

So earlier today around 1pm I did my OPK, and the line was not as dark as the control line, but definitely not faint either (earlier in the cycle there was no line at all, or so faint you had to squint to see it). I thought for sure my surge was coming and I'd test again later and see a darker line. So, just a few minutes ago, I did another one, and the line is so faint you can barely see it! This is my first cycle using OPK's and they're driving me nuts

So...was the first one a fluke? Or did my surge happen and I missed it? How fast does this happen, is it something I could miss in just a few hours? I want to put positive in my chart, but I'm just not sure

I don't know much about OPK's, but did you drink a lot of fluids or not hold going to the bathroom long enough? I know I read that you shouldn't drink a lot of fluids because your urine can become diluted. Just a thought. Good luck and I hope you O soon!
