Hey girls, it looks like I will be joining you. My name is Jamie, and my Dh and I have just suffered our first loss, this was our first preganncy and we don't have any other children. I had been having some light spotting in the beginning at 6 wks and went in for an u/s and they found a hb, so I was thinking everything was going along great, and then I went in yesterday for my 9 week u/s and they could not find the hb, and it looked like the baby had not grown much since the last time I was in at the 6 week mark, so i opted for the DNC instead of waiting to pass it on my own, which I had done last night. This is the hardest thing I have ever had to go through, my DH and I are just devastated, please tell me it will get better!

I'm so sorry for your loss. I have a lot in common with you. This was also my first pregnancy and my DH and I don't have any other children. I also went in for my first appointment and saw the heartbeat and unfortunately m/c four days later. It is heartbreaking to see the heartbeat thinking everything is going okay and then m/c, but things will get better. Try to look at the positive and be optimistic. If you need to talk, PM me. Everybody here is very supportive.

I am soo sorry for your loss. I have had 2 m/c's and even though it has been a rough year... it is getting better. My only advice for you is to make sure you keep talking to your DH and not to bottle your emotions inside.

Welcome to the board.
