I was just wondering how long it took you to get your first post-mc AF? I thought mine would be here on Friday, but here it is Sunday and no sign of her or a BFP. Just BFNs. I just want her to show so we can try again. Or I want a BFP. But I think I would have had it already. Thanks for letting me know what your experience was.

After my first m/c AF showed 5 weeks later. For my 2nd m/c I had period like symptoms and bleeding at 7 weeks post and 10 weeks post... however they don't consider those AF since I still had hormones in my system. I did O last week though...

Good luck

with my last one in Nov. it came right on time just a day or two later but with the one before that it was a full six weeks. I know its really hard and I feel so bad for you going thru this right now but you should expect it to be late right now just to say your heart anymore ache. Give it another week or so before you start worrying about it again and see if you get your BFP then. I hope you do. It sounds like you are emotional right now so make sure you are really ready mentally and not just on the emotional train. I found that giving it one cycle before trying again your in a whole new mind set instead of the feeling of desperation. Its a really scary thing to get your first BFP after a mc. Trust me I have 3 times and that part never gets easier. I was excited during the whole wait to test but when it came up positive I was actually really scared all the sudden. I just want you to be ready for all the worrying a BFP brings. But we all want it desperatly. God bless our souls. I wish you all the luck in the world getting preg again and having a healthy little boy. Yeah I said boy, dont know why but I feel like you'll have boy. Good Luck

It can takes up to 8 weeks to get AF back after a m/c. I was lucky and got AF exactly 28 days after I first started bleeding with my m/c. I was in shock, because it usually takes longer.

Good luck!

Hi Jen,

She hasn't showed up for me yet either , it was 1 mo on Thursday for me, but I was charting and used OPK's and I am only 13 DPO if that helps, I didn't actually O until 2 weeks after the bleeding had stopped from my m/c, maybe if you calculate your LP from your last day of bleeding, your numbers might come up a little different. Do you know if you O'd?

I got AF 5 weeks after my m/c. Luckily my cycles have remained 28 days just like before. However, I think my ovulation has changed. I don't use OPK's, but I think I may be O'ing earlier than 14 days.

Good luck to you!

With my first m/c it showed up 4 weeks after I started bleeding (versus spotting). I haven't got it yet with my second, but I am fairly sure I ovulated 2 weeks after I started bleeding, which means it will probably also start right on schedule. I guess because these miscarriages are so early, it hasn't really affected my cycle at all. I guess I am lucky in that regard.

Joan, I don't chart, so I don't know if I O'd or not . I'm seriously considering starting charting once AF decides to show. She still hasn't shown, and i haven't done any more tests. I don't want to see any more BFNs. So i'm gonna wait until I think Thursday to test again if she hasn't shown, because that will make 5 weeks. I never thought I would be so anxious for AF to show!!!
