Yeah, well, what did I miss????
I had a vag u/s today because I have been really sick and my general care doc here thought it would behoove me to be sure what was going on since I hadn't "technically" (now we know why) passed any more tissue!
She thought perhaps that there may be additional "stuff" left and thought we should check. Well, the tech said..............
I see a lot of movement....and waa laa this tiny little baby appeared on the monitor. Apparently the last u/s I had 4 weeks ago missed it!!! WAY missed it, in fact prescribing my sidatec to start the m/c along. Needless to say I never felt comfortable taking it and thought I would "wait it out".
My biggest fear is I haven't been taking pre-natals for almost a month AND have gone out twice and had a few drinks with friends. 3 1/2 drinks to be specific!
Any thoughts??? Now I'm terrified all over again!!

I wouldn't worry about a few slips - it's not like you were doing it every day! As long as you have a healthy diet, I wouldn't worry about missing the prenatals bc I bet you're back on them now .
Congratulations!!!!!!!! I am so happy for you that it turned out this way!!!!!!! A friend told me about a friend of hers, that the same thing happened to her, couldn't see the baby on the u/s, was bleeding heavily, was told she was having a m/c. I don't know what followup care she had but I bet her OB wasn't very good about that. She went to her family dr bc 3 months later she started to rapidly gain weight and she still hadn't gotten AF (but she'd always had irregular AF's so she wasn't really concerned about that) and her family dr was finally able to determine she never m/c'd at all and was then 4 mo pg!

OH WOW! That's so amazing to me! You know what, when you said that you hadn't felt comfortable with taking the drug, part of me wanted to say "What if you're still pregnant?" But I didn't, because....I would have hated to have said that if you weren't.
CONGRATULATIONS!
As for the prenatals...I'm not taking mine. They still make me very sick. Which means that the only time I really was good at taking them was while I was TTC (I actually was taking them the whole summer between pregnancies, knowing I would be TTC soon again anyway).
All my hopes and prayers with you that this baby continues to stick! Maybe that's why you'd decided you were done, because you hadn't lost this baby after all!
Come tell the ladies on the PG after Loss board!

Glad to hear it hun. Mand from the TTC board went through the same thing. She even had bleeding and clots, they told her she most likely was pg with twins and only lost one. It may have happened to you as well hun.
 Glad your still pg!

Thank you all for your well wishes! I just wish this could happen for all of you! Thank you for sticking with me! I am just still so dumbfounded by the whole thing.
Two days ago dh and I were discussion tubal ligation vs the big V. Man how things can change in a minute.
I would just like NO more surprises from here on out! Thank you very much!
Love to all!

I'm still fairly new to this board, so not real familiar with your whole story, but WOW!! That is amazing that you go in for an u/s and have that surprise!!!! Good thing you listened to your heart and didn't take those meds!!!!
