Just wondering have any of you heard if going to the tanning bed is bad for you when you're TTC?
I love going in the spring....it just makes me feel better and gets me lil base tan for the summer started!!! I havent heard if there is a correlation or not....just wondering if you ladies have heard anything about it???

Hi Heather. I googled this and while no one says absolutely not, most of them caution against it. I wouldn't, just to be safe. There is no known research on this so it might be fine and it might not.

the only concern with tanning bed is getting too overheated if you are pregnant. as long as you don't overheat yourself and keep a fan going you can go through your whole pregnancy and its perfectly safe. there is no reason at all you can't tan while ttc. in fact i went to a tanning bed when i got pregnant with my first. i stopped once i knew i was pregnant though. so, go and enjoy yourself!
