Hey...I have a question. I'm still testing positive on a HPT...no big surprise, just about 2 weeks post D&C. My question is...if I am still testing positive, does tht mean that I will not ovulate?? So, I could feel safe about being intimate with DH as long as that test is still positive? I'm mostly asking this question because we are leaving on vacation in less than 2 weeks, and we really want to relax and enjoy ourselves, and I don't want to have to "worry" about everything. (Just a reminder, I'm waiting for first AF to get pregnant). So, it's not like it would be the end of the world if it did happen, I'd just be a paranoid wreck from it happening so fast after m/c. I am taking my temps, so far, they are nice and steady, so I know that I haven't O'd yet. I have heard of some women O'ing 2 weeks post m/c, and some women may not O at all before first AF. So, it's all a gamble...but was wondering if those tests were positive (it's very faint right now) would it still be possible to O before levels go all the way down?

it is possible to O before your levels are the whole way down. plus the sperm can live up to 5 days so if you bd and then you O a few days later there is always the chance of getting pregnant. if you are trying to avoid pregnancy right now it is definately best to use protection.
