I am so sorry for your loss!!!
mine's not a good experience, but I do know one member who had an ectopic and is now currently pg with a healthy baby. Her screen name is Nykoal and I know you can find her on the Pregnancy After Loss board.
My experience: Before I got pg, I didn't have any history of any problems with my reproductive organs, thought I was normal. With my first pg my HCG levels never got over 325 and the drs thought I was having a m/c but they were wrong (i had to argue with them!), it was ectopic and they ended up removing my left tube in August (it had ruptured but they said they could have saved the tube) bc during the surgery they gave me an HSG (dye) test on the right tube and pronounced it perfect so why bother with a damaged one. We got pg again in January, only to discover that it was ectopic too (levels only reached 1770), but that had also ruptured (so I guess that tube wasn't so perfect after all

) so they took that tube too. But, like the dr said, just because liquid from the dye test can get thru doesn't mean a fertilized egg can. With a previous ectopic, I think the stats say you have like a 10 - 15% chance of another ectopic. But that also means a 85 - 90% chance of a normal, healthy pregnancy.
So when you get pg again, the drs will want to monitor you very closely, you will probably have to go for blood tests for your HCG levels a couple times a week until they can see the pg in the uterus, or determine if it is ectopic again.
Wishing you lots of luck and
