So now I am in the process of taping/mudding the dining room and although I usually listen to country music, I find it too laid back to keep me really moving. I need what DH calls good "angry" music! Yesterday I was really moving along listening to Evanescence (Fallen) but I couldn't think of anything else (and I couldn't remember what I did with their newest CD, I think it might still be in the truck ). I am looking for clear, mainly female vocals with alot of intense passion, with well-put together music that sounds really good when cranked up.
I like Lacuna Coil, but I get annoyed with their male singer's "death metal" voice in some of the songs. ooh, I have some Alanis Morissette, that could work . . .

Any suggestions?

well when i was renovating, i was listening to gwen stafini(cant spell her last name) and i tell you i was done in no time flat! it was a good pop/ get u motivated music! i like her beats! they rock..download some and just see if that helps. good luck!

Cant help hun, I am a country girl all the way. I do know that if you check up on some of the newer country they have a lot of them that has a beat to them!
