i tested and of course it was bfn. temp dropped a little this morning so i'm sure AF will be here in a few days right on time. so for now we are done ttc. i can't do this anymore, after 5 1/2 years i am just drained. it's been a year since my m/c and in that past year i have just become a person that i don't like anymore. i am obsessed with having a baby and i just feel like it's taking over to the point that i am ignoring everything else in my life. all those years before the m/c i was fine with things, i just figured i would never get pregnant and it was something i had dealt with. then i did get pregnant and i thought well it happened so it should work again. well i was wrong and i have put so much time, energy and focus on trying to have a baby that i feel like i'm not enjoying the family i already have. so for now we are on a break and all my focus goes to enjoying my beautiful girls. if it happens it happens and if not then in a few months we will decide whether we want to do more testing and medical assistance or whether one of us will get fixed and be done for good. i will still check in on all of you and i wish you all the best.

I'm so sorry about the bfn, but it sounds like you are moving in a better direction for you (for now). I understand how you feel - I feel like I've become obsessed as well and my marriage is starting to suffer because of it. This month, I've decided to relax more and let things happen. I'm still taking my temp, but only b/c I want to see if my cycles are consistent (only 2nd month temping) but I'm not going going to use OPKs and I'm not going to stress out if I forget to take my temp one day or two this month. Maybe a little R&R will do you some good. Hope you come back to visit us

Julia, I'm so sorry about the BFN...it's just not fair. I completely understanding about wanting to take a break. I know for me, this whole TTC has consumed me. My marriage is a mess, I am not devoting the time to my DD that I should be.

URGHHH... I am so sorry Juls. You have provided all the ladies on this board with soo much support. I am really appreciative of the time you have taken to answer TTC questions or just say a word of encouragement. Thank you sooo much!!!! I hope stepping back from TTC gives you some peace of mind. I have only been TTC for 9 months and it definitely consumes a person... even when you tell yourself you won't let it!
