I thought it would be fun to share some things about ourselves!

I have a couple of them... During the sex ed talk in middle school (the one where boys and girls were both in the room) our teacher was discussing peer pressure and sex. One girl (I still remember her name Tria Tyler) spoke up and said that she could see how some people could be pressured into sex... like Amanda (meaning me) because they are quiet and shy! I couldn't believe it! I was sooo embarressed. Little did she know that I might have been quiet but that definitely does not mean I can be pushed around!!

Also, my first AF came when I was on a school trip to an amusement park... i didn't know what to do and was sooo embarressed. GEEZ, middle school was a traumatic time! Thank goodness it is over!

Oh, and the first time I met DH's mother was at a dinner he had made for us and 2 of his friends. I went to get some salad, grasped the salad forks and tossed it all over the floor. His mom then said... your not going to just throw that away are you (referring the the lettuce on the ground). I was shocked and thought to myself, please don't expect me to eat off the floor!! I wouldn't be surprised if she said that now... you would have to know her to understand!!

OMG....that's funny.

My most embarassing moment....We owned a boat before we were married. We were anchored in a cove for the night, a cove that we thought was okay to anchor in....well we were downstairs, door open, "DTD" and all of a sudden I have a 100000000 watt light shining on my white as a ghost deriere (sp)....it was the Coast Guard....yes, we were illegally anchored....gives "MOON SHINE" a whole new meaning!

Well naturally I refused to show my face (since I showed every other part )...DH went up and the poor kid couldn't get a word out without starting to laugh...I think he was just as embarrased as us!!! He basically said between his giggles "Um, sorry to disturb you sir, but you can't anchor here and I'm really sorry but you're going to have to move"....I will NEVER forget it!

hannahsmommie- that is way too funny.

I have so many embarassing moments that I can hardly think where to begin.

I work with the public and I'm always pretty chatty with my customers.
One day this older lady came in and I asked how her husband was doing and she just looked at me and casually said" Oh, he's dead" and then asked for a book of stamps. Normally, I would have just went with the flow but the lobby was so full of ppl and everyone heard me.

I once asked this woman if she had just been to the dentist b/c she was talking funny and drooling. She said "No, I always talk this way" I guess I failed to see she had something wrong with her mouth.
After inserting my foot in my own mouth more than once I think I'm finally learning not to ask so many ?'s.

These are just a few of many embarassing moments.
