Hi all,

I found out yesterday that I was having a m/c. After crying the entire night and part of the morning I realize that this is not the end of the world and we should just keep on trying. I'm still sad and upset that this happend but I know this doesn't mean we can't have children.

I know I will probably have to wait a cycle or two from reading othere peoples posts. I go to the doctor tomorrow so I'll have a better idea tomorrow. How long did you have to wait after having a m/c? We were able to get pregnant after the first cycle this time and I'm a little worried that it was a freak event and it will take longer this time. Have you guys found that it is taking longer this time around?

Thanks for letting me ramble.

I'm sorry for your loss...I too got pregnant on after the 1st cycle of trying. I found out at approx 12 weeks that I had a blighted ovum m/c. I had a D&C Dec 9th, and my first AF on Jan. 13th. We have been TTC since then with no avail!!! I just started temping this cycle, so maybe I can determine when I actually ovulate...I'm not sure I even did last cycle! Just stay positive and strong....and good things will happen! Good luck!!

I'm so sorry for your loss.

There is a chance that it will take you longer to conceive next time because each pregnancy and conception is a new experience.

However, for me, I've had about a similar experience conceiving with each of my four major pregnancies, so it's also likely that it won't take you too long to get pregnant again.

I hope your appointment goes well tomorrow.

GL for a sticky bean soon!

I'm so sorry for your loss (hugs)! We didn't wait to ttc after either of our miscarriages but didn't get pregnant during the first cycle anyway.

We my first pregancy it took 3 months to conceive. I m/c'd at 6 weeks. Then it took 15 months to conceive again, it was agony! I then went on to have my oldest ds. After my second m/c I conceived after only 2 months of ttc.
