I had posted a few days ago that I finally got my first AF after my D&C - but it was nothing like I expected it to be. Only once I had to wear a super tampon - the rest of the time I've been fine with a regular or even a light. My AF usually are pretty heavy the first few days and I expected this time to be even heavier (don't know why, but I did).

Has anyone else had this experiece?

I have mine right now and it is horrible. I had an D&E and was pretty far along so that may be why... I'm glad it is back, but I still hate having it!

It might also be that you didn't ovulate this cycle (sometimes typical after a D&C or D&E) and this is anovulatory bleeding, which is usually lighter than standard AF bleeding.

GL for a sticky bean soon!

I wondered if I O'd or not. I usually get very crampy around O time and I didn't this month. So that may be the reason why. Let's just hope this is the one and only time

I agree, it could definitely be anovulatory bleeding.

It's been quiet a while but I think my first AF was pretty regular after my D&C.

I'm at the end of my period now. Mine started out so heavy I had to call the doctor! I guess everybody is different.
