I just suffered my 4th m/c on March 27th. I had a d&c on the same day. I was 10 weeks and went in for light brown discharge and found out the the baby no longer had a heartbeat. Well my question is how long have you guys waited before starting to try again? I have usually waited the three months, but this time we started as soon as the bleeding stoped. I think I Oed about nights ago and I made sure we BD. Now I am worrying that I didn't wait enough time for my body to heal, and that if I do get pregnant this cycle I will miscarry again. I really want to get pregnant again, but I don't want another m/c. What do you think?

Sorry for your loss.

I've been reading so much about when it's okay to start TTC after a MC and it's always something different. My dr told me wait 1 cycle (but I never asked why) - I've read that you're told to wait 1 cycle for dating purposes. One of my friend's - her friend - got preggo before her 1st AF after a mc and she had a healthy baby.

I think if it's meant to be, it's meant to be.

What has your doctor told you?

Try not to stress out. Miscarriage is NOT your fault and if we worry about every little thing we do, we'd stress ourselves out way too much.

Follow your doctor's advice and try to stay relaxed.

GL! Hopefully your fourth miscarriage will be your last.

I ttc'd immediately after both of my m/c's. I had a d&c with my second m/c. I didn't conceive either time though.

I had a different OB with each dr and after was given the "wait 3 months' spiel by both of them. I asked why each time and was told it was for my emotional healing but if I wanted to ttc before then it was up to me.

Having hung around ttc after m/c boards since my first m/c I have seen several success stories of women having successful pregnancies right after a m/c!

Talk to your dr and then make the decision you feel is best for you!

My doctor told me to wait one cycle before TTC again to get my body somewhat back to normal before trying again. I have heard varying opinions, but I personally believe that you will not get pregnant if your body isn't ready. Good luck!

Thanks for asking this question. I had the same exact one. I don't think I'm going to check when I ovalate next or anything but we aren't going to try to prevent it happening.
