After your D&E (or D&C), did you monitor your hcg at home with hpts? If so, when did you notice them getting lighter?

I don't know if my RE wants to monitor my betas anymore now that I've had a D&E (my OB never did after D&E's unless there was a reason to suspect that something might be wrong).

I'm just wondering how long I can anticipate it taking for my hpts to get lighter and eventually go negative.

I wish I could help, but I had 2 natural miscarriages and I had HCG blood tests done every week. It took a while for my levels to drop to non-pregnancy levels. The 2nd time it took about 10 weeks.

I m/c naturally 3 weeks ago (I was 9 wks) and as of yesterday my HPT's were negative. So for me it didn't take long at all for the HCG to get out of my system. I just hope that it doesn't take long to get AF back!
