When is it considered chemical and misscarriage??

Just wondering.

I know mine is considered chemical but really what is the difference???

Well, there really isn't a difference. A chemical pregnancy is actually a very early miscarriage - I don't really know why they call it chemical, but there it is.

Sorry for your loss hun. I believe a chemical is when you are very very early in your pregnancy. I was told most of the time a chemical is where you get an early BFP but you get AF on time or a few days later.

At work, we consider a chemical pregnancy as when the egg is fertilized but does not implant, where a miscarriage is where an implanted embryo is expelled from the uterus.

Thanks hun. I am sorry about yours too.

I am sure mine was chemical. Which either way i was the happiest I will ever be for those 2 days. Now I am back to reality and not TTC anymore....til DH is ready.

I just wanted to say that I don't like the term "chemical" pregnancy. There WAS a baby so IMO it is considered a miscarriage.
