I have always heard that you are supposed to bd every other day starting 3 days before you are supposed to o and ending on the day after. Hope that helps!

Sperm typically live alot longer (up to 5 days) than an egg (up to 24 hrs) so bding before you O is much easier timing than trying to pinpoint exactly when you O. But, it's much easier for the sperm to get where it needs to if you bd when you have EWCM, which is typically a few days before you O. Not saying it won't happen if you bd when you don't have EWCM or if you bd after you O.
I normally O on CD 13 - 14, or at least that's my guess. For my 1st pg we bd'd on CD14 (finally - it'd been like 3 weeks ) and for my 2nd pg we bd'd on CD 11 I think.
HTH!

I have been keeping track of my CM and OPK and yesterday was the first day the the test line was as dark or darker than the control line. So I have been BD every other day for the last week. I am going to POAS on an OPK again today and see if the line is darker or lighter... I am on CD 19. Is that normal??

It depends on how long your cycles are. Mine are 28 day, O around CD 13-14. How long have you been tracking them? If this is your first month tracking (and if you don't get pg this month) then keep tracking them and you should see a pattern and will know what's normal for you. Some women have a short luteal phase and that can be a problem with TTC, so that's also something to look at.
Good luck this cycle!!
