I had 7 losses before Ben. When we started TTC Ben, I used OPK's. I did that for a year w/o success, and then the month I gave up, it happened. How about you? We want to start TTC again around Dec/Jan, but I'm scared it'll take a year (or more) again this time.

I did use OPK's for the first time when I got pg this past time. I used them one month got my pos OPK then got my pos HPT 12 days later. Of course we know how that ended. So I am going to use them again this month because I want to pg asap. I use the answer brand. I hope this helps and it doen't take you long to get your BFP!

I used them all this past week trying to determine when I ovulated. We kept BDing even though they were all negative, and then sure enough, I have a clear thermal shift, so I definitely ovulated. But I never got a positive on the OPK. I don't think I will be using those again, If I didn't get pregnant this month, next month I am just going to rely on my CM, and my temps and other signs, cause I could definitely tell I was getting ready to ovulate.

I used OPK's after the first pg so I could determine when I should be ovulating rather than what I had been doing, which was assuming my "window of opportunity" was days 10 - 14 of my 28 day schedule. Turns out I was right anyway, I O around CD 13-14 . But it took 5 mo to get pg again. And I seem to be back on a regular cycle schedule again so now I just go by my CM and other bodily signs. I did use the Answer brand and liked them.
