My doctor wants me to take baby aspirin through my next pregnancy so I get enough blood flow to my placenta. My question is how soon should I take it? Can I start before we TTC again? If I take it a month we start trying, will that help at all? Thanks for any thoughts.

After my miscarriage, I had some tests done and it was noted that I have one copy of the MTHFR gene (it's a clotting thing). My doctor put me on one baby aspirin every evening, and said that I will continue to take it through pregnancy (once I finally get pregnant again). I chew mine, I get the orange ones.....the cherry ones are gross!

You can start taking it whenever. Now is perfectly fine. It won't help you get pregnant per se...but it may help you maintain a pregnancy should you become pregnant!!
