So a friend of mine got pregnant around the same time that I did and everything seem to be going along great until yesterday. She was due for her 12 week u/s on Friday, but she was having some moderate cramping that was keeping her up at night. No bleeding. So she went in early for the u/s and the baby had not grown much past the 8 1/2 week mark. So she's getting a d&c. I feel bad b/c I was so jealous of her for being pregnant.

It also scares me because it just goes to show that you never know what will happen with a pregnancy. DH said "You're probably going to freak out every time you have a cramp when you're pregnant again". Yeah, probably.
