I had a m/c at 4 1/2 weeks. The doctor said it was too early to mess up my cycle. I have had one normal period since the m/c. I have yet to detect O with OPK's. Anybody else have this problem?
***UPDATE*** Well, I eventually O'd late in my second cycle after m/c. I O'd on CD18. I used to O on CD13 before the m/c. Now I have to count dpo's instead of the day I'm supposed to start AF, because the day I start AF would be too early to use an HPT.

I have tried using OPK's both cycles since my m/c. Never have seen anything more than a faint line, and I mean faint, every other strip has been as white as snow! Now the cycle following my m/c, it's hard to say if I O'd or not....temps were a bit all over the place. But last cycle, I had a clear thermal shift...I definitely O'd, just missed it on the OPK's. I am not very trustint of them now. I am going to try to use them again this cycle, but I'm going to use 2 a day because I think that maybe my surge is short...maybe I just missed it last time. Don't rely completely on those to determine if you are Oing or not. I looked at your chart, and you only have a few temps, so FF isn't going to detect anything...at least I don't think so, but it looks like you might have O'd now...your temp has gone up the last few days.....really hard to say....
I know how frustrating everything is following a m/c....I was searching and searching for answers, and what it comes down to is that every woman is different, and a m/c really messes with your body. I can give you some hope though. It's been a little over 2 months since my D&C, I was 9 weeks along when I had it, and it seems that this cycle is starting out much more normally now...so I'm hoping that my body has finally gotten back on track. Hang in there!!

I have... after my first m/c I actually thought I might have gotten a positive OPK, but I also was temping that month and Fertility Friend said that I hadn't O'd. My miscarriage occurred around 5 weeks. I have also read posts from other ladies saying that they have had issues with messed up cycles even after early miscarriages. Some don't... but I just think that everyone is different.
OH, one more thing. I was really worried about not Oing after my first m/c. So I called my docs office and they had me take a blood test on a specific day during my period. They can tell if you O'd or assume you have O'd if the hormone they check is at a certain level. I am not sure what it is called, but maybe it is something to look into!
Good luck

I just had a chemical pregnancy at 4 weeks, and had some mid cycle bleeding so my doc wanted to do an ultrasound to check and see if I was going to ovulate. I was on day 21 of my cycle which is 36 days long. So he should have seen that I was really close to ovulating or already did. The ultrasound showed I wasn't even close to ovulating, and I had a lots of cysts on my ovaries. He said that I wasn't going to ovulate. But I didn't feel that he was right. So I started taking OPKs and yesterday I got a positive one and I think I felt o pains today. I'm now on day 25 of my cycle. I have read that a miscarriage can mess you up. I chart but due to 3 little ones my temps are inconsistant. I hope this helps

I m/c at 9 weeks and after my first AF, I was waiting to O and never did. Then my second AF arrived over a week early. I guess my body is still not back to normal. Hopefully I will O this month! Good Luck.

Same boat as you! I had an early m/c on January 8,2007. I then got my 1st AF in March. Then since March, I haven't had a cycle since!! I had only some brown-spotting (very very light) that lasted no more then 5 days in April. It was so light, that it couldn't consider it as a AF flow.
Prior to my m/c, my cycle was normally between 30-35 days. Then since the m/c, my cycle has been messed!! So now I am on Provera for 7days to bring on my AF. If you aren't getting your AF, you should let your doctor know about it so she can do a bloodtest to confirm you aren't pregnant , then put you on med to start your cycle.
I totally understand your fustration. I am so worried everyday that my cycle will never be the same again, and that since the m/c, I am scared to death that I may have a even harder time getting pregnant.

I m/c almost 5 wks ago and I was 5 wks pg. I am in the 2ww this week. I should have af or a next week. I took OPKs and temped and it took me almost 4 wks to O. But I know that cycles are screwed up after a m/c, that's what I have read at least. Good luck!
