Hey everybody, I just signed up here because I'm hoping to get a few responses from other moms who have gone through this.

I have a beautiful son who is now 3-1/2 years old. I didn't know I was pg with him until nearly 15 weeks; I had two episodes of bleeding during the first trimester that were enough to make me think I was having AF. Luckily, he was born perfectly healthy.

In January of this year, DH and I were ecstatic to find out we were expecting #2. But bleeding started at 7wks and a m/c was diagnosed on Valentine's Day.

I just got my third BFP.

LMP was April 22, DH and I BD on May 9th/10th (DS was also conceived late in my cycle, which I figure to be 26 or 27 days). HPT was positive, so I went to my dr and had the labs done. My HCG level came back at just 69.

Yesterday I started spotting again.

I am absolutely scared to death. It doesn't seem to be increasing; I had a little twice yesterday, then none last night, then a bit again this morning, and it's very light in color. I have had some very mild cramping, but nowhere near what I experienced with my m/c, and that doesn't seem to be increasing either.

Comments? Advice? PLEASE? Because I think I'm going to lose my mind!

Considering your history of spotting in your first pg, and to me the hcg of 69 that early in the pg seems totally reasonable, I'd say that things look pretty positive at this point. And cramping is totally normal for pregnancy. Are they going to run another hcg test to see if your levels are increasing properly?

{{{HUGS}}} I know this is stressful, but hopefully your little bean will be just fine.

I'm sorry for your loss...I know how jumpy it can make you (it certainly has me).

Thanks so much for your support. I know my dr will very likely run the test again, but if he doesn't mention it, I intend to request it lol. When I called his office to get the test results yesterday morning, his secretary told me that a HCG level of 69 would mean I was only a week pregnant; I know I was roughly two weeks, so that made me nervous. The spotting is staying just spotting thus far, and it's a light pinkish/brownish, no red. I hope hope HOPE that things are going to be okay.

And no kidding, jumpy isn't even the word for it!

I think if you've had one done then the doctor should do a repeat blood test to make sure your hormones are doubling like they should be. 69 is a good number and look postive. Try to stay relaxed (I know easier said then done). If your doctor doesn't intend to do a repeat one (which he should) request one.

I'm sorry for your previous loss and hope that this pregnancy is sucessful and you have a happy and healthy 9 months.
