Ive heard alot of times that i should wait to try and conceive. Because i dont have a problem getting pregnant, i just want know if any of you have conceived and had a healthy pregnancy after a d&c? Im really nervious about my baby not growing again. Has this happened to anyone else?

so sorry for your loss we were in the same ddc we are also ttc again i hope all goes well for you I didnt have to have a d&c everything passed on its own so i dont really have advice

well i think it was a blessing for us to have conceived the 1st time and im sure god wont blow our hopes and not bless up with another miracle soon... It would be cool if we conceive again together

Yeah that would be cool we always feel things happen for a reason so were going to start ttc now we got the ok from the doc since this was our 1st loss

I'm so sorry for your loss honey. I have had two natural miscarriages, so I'm not much help when it comes to a D&C. But I think they have you wait so your uterus can heal? I may be wrong, but I remember hearing that somewhere.

I told you already that I had a natural miscarriage, but didnt you ask your dr hun? I am really unsure of a D&C myself.

I did ask the doc and also one of the nurses, but i also like to hear the advice of women who have lived through this so i can decide what is right for me. If i should wait the 3 months or the 1 month or just let it happen when it happens. Ive never had trouble conceiving, i just dont want it to happen to quick if it is dangerous. But i figured if i heard some positive feedback i wouldnt be so scared and let nature take its course.

I see, what confused me was that my dr told me to wait one cycle after my m.c but the nurse told me to wait 3 cycles. So I agree its best to ask around, but one thing I did hear was that make sure your emotionally ready hun before TTC.

emotionally i am very ready again, my husband and i want a second child so badly. I cant wait to conceive again, seeing that postive pregnancy test will be wonderful, and if so happen it doesnt work out either(then thats gods plan for me). But i have hope that the lord will bless me with another child. I want to make sure that I am not setting myself up for faliure if my body is not ready.

I think waiting at least one cycle would be a good idea hun, after that I really think its up to you. Lots of luck!

Hi, after my D&C my doctor told me to try again right away. So wait for one AF visit then you can try the next O. My D&C was May 2 so we could start trying in a couple of weeks, but I'm not on the right meds yet so we decided to wait one more cycle. AF seems a little lighter than normal, so it may not have worked for us anyway. I'm a nurse, and I know they tell you to wait because they think you'll be so disappointed if you don't conceive, but you sound like me and can't wait. I did conceive on the next cycle after my 2nd (natural) m/c so it happens. I'm so sorry for your loss! ((HUGS))

My doctor to me to wait until after my first period to try. My d&c was on May 16 so we are waiting......... I am excited to try again.
