I'm baaaack!

Well we're back! We had a great time! Caught lots of fish . . . saw lots of wildlife! Saw moose, bear

, deer, beavers, eagles, etc. I see a few got their BFP's while I was away, so HUGE congrats there!!!

Here's some pics:

This is me, with a 30" Northern Pike:

Me again, with a big bass, but I can't remember what size, somewhere between 15 - 17":

This baby crow was terrorizing my dogs! Carl was up on the deck and wouldn't come down

Great guard dog, I know.

Cute little baby mud turtle, was barely bigger than a quarter!

This rock is normally 6 - 8" under water, but the water was low. Lots of people have damaged their motors on it, and it looks like someone really had some trouble this time! They hit it while it was ABOVE water level bc it wasn't there when we first arrived!

DH was cutting down the cattails, they've gotten really thick around our island. He decided a chain saw worked best . . . notice his silly grin!

Just over the MN border into Canada, like maybe 15 miles, on Rainy Lake. It was really nice. We arrived Sat. with friends, and DH's parents were already there and they left Sun, and our friends left Mon, so we had Tues - Sun all to ourselves (evil grin). We're going back up again over July 4th.

Canada is really nice, my grandparents used to own a camp up North on the Alex Bay river and it was maybe 10 mins from Canada. Dh family owns land that way too he wants to go up end of this month. I am glad you had fun hun!
