First Period after loss

I was 20 weeks pregnant when I lost my son. It's been 5 weeks now and I am just wondering (a baseline really) when everyone that had similar timeline losses got their first period. My bleeding stopped about 2 weeks ago and I am just waiting for AF to so up so I can start TTC again!!! Thanks for any info

I am 6 weeks out from a 12 week loss and I just got AF yesterday. It was almost a full month after I stopped bleeding before I got it.

I lost my baby at 27 weeks. I bled for about 3 1/2 weeks, off for 1 1/2 and then started af. It was about 5-6 weeks after my loss. At least I think it was af because it lasted almost 6 days! I think I am getting ready to ovulate the first time after my loss. I know everyone is different though. I think I heard someone else didn't get theirs until 10 weeks later.

Good luck hun, and I know how hard it is. I hate all of the waiting.

How are you doing Rhonda? I was talking to my doctor (tuesday) and he was telling me right after me, he had another woman come in and she lost her baby at 9 months. I thought about you

I lost my baby at 20 wks and 6 days and am coming up on 9 wks and still haven't gotten af....I really wish she would hurry though.

I was 9 weeks when I m/c'd. First AF showed up 31 days later.

It is nice to know that someone thinks about me, someone that understands the pain. It is so sad to think that 1 out of 115 deliveries are stillbirths. I am doing ok, just still waiting to ovulate if I will even ovulate. I am already cd 19 and my temps aren't showing anything yet. You might try charting and it might help you in the upcoming month. Another thing is might help you know when you will get your first af, or if you don't you will know when to take an hpt. I am hoping that you will fall pregnant right away. It would be nice if the both of us could go through the next pregnancy together. Not to exclude anyone, I hope all of us get pregnant right away and can share this experience. I also wish their wasn't a need for this board at all, although very glad it is here.
