Hi all! I had a miscarriage back the last week of April. I'm on my first "real" cycle post-m/c. Has anybody noticed their cycles getting longer, or for it to take longer to O after a m/c? I'm on CD 14 I believe and I usually O on cd 18--but I'm getting nothing yet....no high's on the monitor, not even a second line on my OPKs.

Any words of wisdom?

I m/c at the end of March and my first cycle was at 31 days which is normal for me. However, since then I have had two more cycles which were much shorter than usual. I don't do OPK's right now, but I don't believe I have O'd at all since the m/c. Everybody is different, but I know that others here on the board have had their cycles longer than usual. I hope your body gets back to normal soon. Good luck.

I had a m/c at the beginning of May and my doctor told me that some people dont ovulate the first cycle after a m/c, she also said having a m/c can change your cycle....I usually ovulate really late in my cycle, about 4 weeks after the first day of my period, and then get my period a week later... and they usually run between 36-38 days long...I ovulated 3 weeks after my m/c and got my period almost 2 weeks later and my cycle was only 33 days, so it was different this cycle...im not sure if that means it will always be different now, or if it was just this cycle that was a little off track, but I just wanted to let you know my experiance. I wish you the best and hope things work out for you, I know this is a difficult thing to go through, im still to this day having trouble getting through it, but my husband and I are going to try again this cycle because I just want to be pregnant again, all we can do is put it in Gods hands and pray that we will have a better pregnancy and a healthy baby next time around...Hang in there and take care!

Thanks ladies! It's so frustrating! I want to be TTCing again, but it's hard when there's no eggie to go after!

Emg--where in VA are you? We're in Richmond, but we're both from all over the state. I went to HS in Roanoke, college in Harrisonburg, and DH is from Hampton.

My first cycle from my miscarriage was a 26 day cycle, mine is usually a 25 day cycle and i O'd on CD 15 according to FF and i O normally on CD 12 so the length of the cycle is quite normal but i never usually O that late.

Everyone is different. I think some woman O in their first cycle from the miscarriage and others don't ovulate to the 2nd cycle since the m/c.
