My m/c started on Monday full force and I passed a lot of blood and clots. Tuesday was better but still passed a lot of blood and more tissuey stuff. Now it is lighter and just like a period. I figured the worst is over and I am not cramping as badly but how long should I expect to bleed? I know everyone is different but I thought I would ask and see if there is an average.

I bled for a week....I usually have a 7 day period (unfortunatly) so it was like having a period for me....I was SOOO blessed not to have ANY, not even one bit of cramping, and when I was at the E.R. the doctor pulled out a big clot for me so I didnt really pass any clots, just blood. I hope you are feeling better soon, hang in there girl, I know this isnt easy.

With my first m/c I bled for 7 days, but my m/c just kicked into full force last night and I'm hoping this one is over quickly too. Last night for a few hours I was filling 4 pads an hour with lots of clots and (TMI) gushes of blood, but then it almost stopped at night. And now its like a heavy period. I, too, am hoping the worst is over.

I hope its over soon and you can get back to ttc soon

I actually think it is starting to taper off already. Today is day 4 and I am really only spotting..still afraid to graduate down to a pantyliner though. Hopefully it is stopping soon...

I bled for 7 days. After about the 4th day, it was so light that all I needed was a pantyliner.
