I normally O on CD 17 or 18. But, when we conceived Caiden, I Oed on CD 14. Is an earlier O better than a late O when trying to conceive? Can you conceive Oing later than cd 14? Basically, if you O later than the typical CD14, can you still conceive or is the Eggie not good? (Can you tell I am going nutz here!! )

TIA
Jenn

You can concieve if you O later in your cycle..I dont have a normal cycle, so I usually O later in my cycle...when I got pg in April, i didnt O until about cd 19...and some other cycles I didnt O until cd 21 or even cd 27...everyone cycle is different. I know ttc is enough to make you crazy, hang in there, your not alone!!

Yes, it is very possible. When I was pregnant with Abby we conceived her on cd 35. I often wondered the same thing, but she is my proof, and I didn't ovulate until cd29/30 this month, so I am still hoping that is true.

I O'd on CD 29 and got pregnant. I also know someone who O'd on CD 40something and got pregnant!

If the only way to conceive is Oing around CD 14, I have absolutely no chance! That's just not possible for me!

I have known girls who O on CD 100something and get pg. The only part of the cycle where length matters is the time after you O until your AF. If that phase is too short you may have trouble with implantation but it really doesn't matter how long it takes to O.
