I went to my OB yesterday to talk about my losses and she agreed to do some testing. I heard that some docs wait until after 3 to test so I was excited that she was willing to do some after 2. I got 6 tubes of blood drawn. First was another HCG to make sure it goes back to zero and the others for TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone), some autoimmune things, clotting things, and chromosomes. Dh also got chromosomes drawn. Then after my first post m/c AF I will get an HSG done. Hopefully we will get some answers soon! I am nervous but glad to put my mind at ease finally and find out what is going on or maybe find out nothing and that I was just unlucky twice. IDK, we will see.

Glad your doctor is willing to test

I just had some of the same tests done. So far the only thing that came back on mine was "low blood volume" so I get to go to a hemotologist (sp?). I hate needles....UGH

At least it will give you things to rule out if nothing else. And maybe a little peace of mind for your next pregnancy if the test all come back good

I am not sure when we can start trying again. I have to have at least one AF so that I can have the HSG done around CD5 but I don't know if I will have the OK to try that cycle or not. Hopefully we will! I did get a couple tests back already, my TSH was normal and also my ANA was normal, which is an auto-immune test. So far so good!

Thanks! My dog was so mad at me for putting that hat on him the other day. I was actually suprised to get a good one that I had to make something with it! And the one with us in Hawaii was for a challenge in the siggy forum. It was fun too! Anyway it is soooo hard not to log in and check to see if any more came back since I work in the hospital but we can't look at our own charts...which I think is rediculous but still the rules. They can track whose charts we go into in the computer so I can't do it. I guess I will have to wait until my Dr calls me.

Well I hope the wait isn't long. Nothing worse than waiting....especially since you work at the hospital.

I hope they give you some specific reasons and a good game plan fo r the future.
