The Good: What is your favorite brand?

The Bad: Least favorite?

<span style="color:#006400">The Ugly: Ever gotten a false positive or a shadow you thought was a line?

For me the Good is EPT. I just started using them and I really like them. They are clear with no guessing involved.

The Bad... I would have to say the Answer tests. They are fun to take apart, but it always seems like I can see a shadow of a line that make me think this could be it. Then I go out and buy more expensive tests and they are clearly negative.

The Ugly... I will never buy Accu Clear tests (Target) I got a very faint line four times. I will never use them again.

I used Answer once. Got a clear positve, went to Doc, their test was negative. Blood work came back positve though. Didn't find out for 2 weeks though about the blood test. That was with DD.

I have alse used Clearblue Digital. I REALLY liked that one, alot BUT it's one that reads at higher HCG (I think 50) so not so good for testing early.

I HATE CVS tests though. They always seem positive to me so I never use them anymore.

And any blue dye tests I avoid like the plague. Evaps look too much like positives and I've gotten a false postive within 2 minutes of taking one before.

I love this website for info though, its fun to read... http://www.peeonastick.com/hpts.html

Yes, NO blue dye. At all.

I usually use Equate ... I've also used Answer and liked them, but I'm not the type to take apart tests or overanalyze them. When I got my BFP I'd already taken one test, not seen anything, and tossed it. I figure if I'm pregnant my period still won't come, and I'll take another.

My DF can't see lines for anything, and I'm going to want to show him anyway, so even if there's a so-light-I-almost-can't-see-it line that I had to take the test apart to see, he won't believe it. I might as well not bother looking.

Jessica... I need to follow that plan. I think it would save me money. Just digital then no "seeing faint lines" that aren't there making me go out and buy more tests to see if they are there too.... I seriously all kidding aside think I spent $60 on hpt's and $35 on opk's last month. And that's probably a low estimate. UGH
