So today I get my period after being 8 days late. Every month since november when I first got my AF after my d&c in august, my period has been late every time each month. Its ranged from either 3 days early to 5 days late but never 8 days. I hoped that this was it for us, that maybe just maybe i was pregnant, but AF showed its ugly face tonight !! Last week I was getting a sharp pain on my right side, I know ovarian cysts can do this and cause the irregular periods does anyone else have any of this happen to them?? I just dont understand why I can't seem to get pregnant and my body constantly is playing tricks on me. sorry for the vent

Have you tried temping? This would give you a little better insight on what your body is doing. It might also help you pin when to bd and get that bfp. Also after a mc your body can take a little time to get back to "normal". And try not to let it get you down, even those people that time bd'ing down and everything there is still only a 25% chance of getting pregnant.

Charting is the best advice I have for you! Sorry I couldn't offer much else.

the only thing i can suggest is temping thats the best way to figure out when af is comeing. good luck and also id love to reffer to another board that can explain charting if needed. Fertility charting

I had a late loss. I was 23 1/2 weeks pregnant. I also had to have a D&C done to remove the placenta. After my periods were so irregular, heavy, and painful. You may want to consult your doctor. You could have some hormonal imbalance caused from your previous pregnancy. They will most likely do some bloodwork at certain times in your cycle. Good Luck!

after my loss I had a lot of problems with my cycle getting back on track. The doctor put me back on birth control for 3 months to regulate me. Just an idea.

I completely know how you feel. Since my m/c in March, I have had 4 cycles. This first was normal (31 days), but then the next were really short and then this month I'm on CD36 and still no AF or BFP. It is very frustrating.
