I had a D&C last Friday, July 20th. I am still bleeding. Is that normal?

I have called the doctor and they said that as long as I am not filling pads.. which I am not.. but I have never bled over a week!
I also had blood work done this past friday to check my hcg level and haven't gotten it back yet... Darn Weekends!

I am just ready to get this first cycle started....

I am so ready to get to trying again!

After I lost my Daughter and Son, i bleed for over 2 weeks, as long as there wasn't clots the size of a golf ball.

Everyones body is different, and just remember that you body is healing, and it takes time.

I wish u the best of luck on ttc!!

(sorry to hear about you loss)

Thank you Brandy. My friend was about as far along as me when she lost hers and she said she only bled for about 4 days..
I am going on 9!
I had one day where there was almost nothing! Then back to red/thicker..

Any advice you have on dealing with the pain would be appreciated too..

Thanks.

My bleeding stopped two weeks after my D&C. Two weeks later AF arrived.

Sounds like it's normal m/c bleeding. (If there is such a thing as normal for m/c)

Hugs....
Bobbie

If you would like to see pictures of my sweet (but tiny) boy they can be viewed at www.caringbridge.org/visit/noahdarrohn they aren't the easiest pitures to look at but I am willing to share them with anyone who would like to see them <3

Mine did the same thing---I bled heavy at first, then there were days when I didn't have anything and thought I was done and then it came back and was heavy again. Eventually it went away, about two weeks later or so and then I got my period shortly after that so I think its normal to bleed like that.

First I wanted to tell you how sorry I am. I aslo suffered a m/c after hearing and seeing the heartbeat. I was a little over ten weeks. I bled for just about two weeks after my d&c.

Thank you.. I think the hardest thing is knowing that I saw my baby.. I saw it move.. I saw the heart beating.. I heard it!
And then It was gone!
It looked so peaceful though. It is so sad.

After having two healthy pregnancies I think I thought this couldnt happen to me.. I took it for granted.

I am anxious to get the next cycle going so we can try again!

I wanted this baby so bad!
