My SIL is pregnant right now...7 weeks today, or supposed to be at least. She had an u/s done and the baby measured 6 weeks. The baby is still alive and has a heartbeat.. She had a miscarriage back in Feb. and was on a fertility shot so they know about when she got pregnant....the doc told her that most babies do not make it after they have measured that far behind...I had a loss about 2 1/2 years ago and my baby was still alive and had a heartbeat and measured 2 weeks behind...

My hubby asked me if I knew of anyone else who had been successful in this and I thought maybe anyone here would have researched or had this happen to them? I don't know any other board to ask...

I guess my question is, has anyone had this happen and the baby pulled through? Or has anyone had this happen and lost the baby?

Thanks in advance...I just also wanted to say not to loose hope, DH and I TTC for 2 years with 2 losses and now have a healthy baby girl

I have heard of babies being okay after measuring behind. If I were her I would not give up even a little bit of hope if the heart is still beating.

I hope things get better for her and her little one. Keep us updated...
