the results? According to the dr, inconclusive. AAAAHHHHHH!!!! more waiting!!!
the first time they put the dye in, they couldn't see it on the screen so they had to do it again. There was no spillage, which *should* indicate that I have no tubes, but my OB said that since this was so incredibly painful/crampy for me (once was bad enough, but twice??? OUCH!!!) he said that the tubes could have spaszed (sp?) shut, he's seen that happen before. So, he wants me to come in for another procedure once I have another period (bc I told him I think I have a cyst on my right ovary that's been hurting since mid-July, he said that first he wants me to have another cycle, provided I don't get pg, and if that cycle is as painful as the last 2 have been then I need to come in anyway) and this time they'll knock me out (thank god!!!) and do like an angioplasty. I get an incision (I assume for the camera he was talking about) and then they go up my cervix into my uterus with some balloon thing to see if they can get it into my tubes (if I have any). If anyone knows what this procedure is called, please tell me! I forgot to ask.

This will be the "definite" diagnosis of infertility, which my insurance will cover, but nothing beyond that for TTC.
The dr was so nice, he kept apologizing for it being so painful for me, and he said that if my periods were normally painful then the HSG would be painful and I told him the last 2 had been VERY painful so ummmm yeah, that HURT!!!!!!!!!!!! Typing doesn't even begin to describe the pain. I can truly say that is the most painful experience I've EVER had! If childbirth is anything like that, they can knock my butt out and wake me up when the kid comes out.

Or maybe I'll beg really hard for a c-section (if I ever get pg again).
Here is the x-ray pic, okay, it's not great, they gave me the HUGE xray so I tried to take a pic with one hand holding the xray up to the window with the other hand ). As is, it shows my tiny uterus (he even commented it was so small), nothing going off to my right side, and a little going off to my left side. Unfortunately my dr had already left the room before I thought to ask why the sides looked so different. The tech explained the xray pic, said that the right side could look like that too, but with things moving around in there with the cramping during the procedure, the right tube could have curved around so that nothing would be seen, or it just could be bc the tube was removed there. But if that's where the tube was removed, then there IS more on the left side.
Dang, I wish I knew for sure.
