I don't know if this is the right area to post this, but I would appreciate input from anyone. I am not actively TTC, but we weren't preventing either. Two weeks ago I had my period. It was much lighter than normal and didn't last as long but had come on time. I never really get any cramps or other PMS symptoms. Today I started bleeding again, much much heavier and having the worst cramps and backache ever. Even my hips hurt and I feel like there's pressure in my pelvic area if that makes any sense. I'm always very regular and have easy periods which is why i'm confused. I thought of testing, but right now I'm curled up in bed with a heating pad and can't think of going anywhere.

Thanks for your help and I wish all of you the best of luck in TTC.
Jenn

***Update***

I did end up going to the ER and they did blood work and an ultrasound and said that I was miscarrying. They gave me the option of the D&C, or waiting it out at home which I decided to do. I feel so lost, and I feel like had I known I could have done something to prevent it.
Thanks for your help.

Jenn,

I am not sure if it a a m/c or not. All I can tell you is for me, when I had my m/c, it started with a back ache, shoulder pain & intense cramping. Cramping that went way beyond any other cramping I had ever experienced. followed with very heavy bleeding. when you say heavy bleeding, are you filling more than 1 pad an hour? ( if so, you need to go to the ER).
Can you call your dr.? I am sorry if I have not been much help...its hard because every one is so different.
Please keep us posted .
Good luck and take care.
Dee

It's more like a pad every 2 hours or so. I'm used to wearing tampons, but I was going through those a lot faster so I put a pad on. I don't usually get cramps so I don't know what to compare it to, but I can definitely say it's the worst I've ever felt and the backache is just a really bad constant aching. I came home from work early because between the two I couldn't stand it. I've been curled up in bed since. I might call my doctor, but I know she will send me to the ER. I've got a huge deductible on my insurance so I hate to go if it's nothing.

I was trying to read up on it, but like you said, everything seems to be so different.

Thank you for your help. I hope you have a good weekend.
