Well my apt is for 3:15 today. Hopefully I will know where I stand after this one. The apt is to go over all test results from the tests that I have had done.

I am hoping they schedule me for surgery withing the next couple weeks so we can try again next month. I am not sure if I will be able to try this month. It depends when the surgery is going to be. I am also kinda wondering if he will put me on Clomid. He wasn't sure I was actually Oing.

So we'll see. I just hope I am not expecting more answers than he can give... KWIM?

Wish me luck..

Well... it went okay I guess. I need another D&C for the Polyp (just one). He didn't think that is what is stopping me from getting pregnant though They will call next week to schedule that. The surgery will be most likely done in October.

I also need a "X-ray of my tubes" is what he said, but on my papers he wrote HSG. Anne do you know what that is vs. the sonohystogoram (sp?) I already had? You seem to be the "test" expert around here I asked him if it would hurt and he said maybe....LOL So I am guessing yes

They will do that on CD7-10 next cycle. They can't get me in this cycle. I am on CD3.

He also "ordered" a SA for Dave...but they said he still needs a referal from his primary doctor.

I totally forgot to ask some questions I had. Like what about these blood clots??? UGH And what about Clomid? And why the heck am I not pregnant yet.... LOL I also wanted him to order a antiposholipids (sp?) test to see if I have that clotting problem. The Hemotologist said to ask my OB/GYN because for some reason he couldn't order it when I went to him for bloodwork last month.

So I am not sure I know much more now than I did before the appointment.....

Oh well. I guess after the D&C I will see where I stand. Heck maybe I will get preggo this cycle and not have to worry about all this stuff

Another D&C and another painful procedure??? What are they doing to you? Well at least he polyp isn't preventing you from getting pg and at least you can try again this cycle coming up. So it seems you have some good news and some bad news so it was a neutral apt. That's not too bad. Better then bad.

Yep... neutral .... I like that thought!

I really think I might call back tomorrow and ask to talk to the nurse about all this. I am feeling a bit confused after that appointment. I fogot to tell you girls he was also much happier with my chart for last cycle. He said my cycle was shorter (27days vs. 30days) because my temps were more consistant...which is a good thing I guess. It would really suck if I have gone through all this and the problem lies with Dave all he has to do is &^$%* in a cup! Not fair!

Bobbie,

I guess neutral is better than bad ! I was wondering how everything went today & was glad to see your post, especially glad to see it wasn't BAD news. As for more testing, that always just plain sucks, no other way to say it..I just hope it isn't too bad...of course if you get a bfp soon, they can't touch ya !
hang in there girl, you'll get the answers & everything is going to work out .

You know I read somewhere that you have to think "I will be pregnant" not "I hope someday I get pregnant again". I recently have been thinking that way. I will have another baby. I don't care what it takes. I am going to give birth again.

Ya know it helps The problem is this is getting expensive and we haven't even gotten to the hard core stuff like IVF. I may have to give up my HPT and OPK addiction...or stop eating! LOL I saw one of my bills from the last test today.... $882 before insurance. Hopefully most of it is covered.

I even bought baby books today (Salvation Army...can't beat the prices!) and my daughter looked at me like I was nuts. Well... she knows I am nuts I have a shelf full of them.... just waiting to be used. I grab them whenever they have good ones.

I am so ready for whatever comes next. Remind me the day before my surgery and that wonderful HSG of this post okay?

I'm sorry you have to go through more test, surgery and all but it still sounds to me like you WILL be pregnant again and you WILL have another baby. Of that I am certain.
Keep your spirits up!!!

I wish you the very best outcome. Yes, this is getting pretty expensive and we haven't even hit the hard stuff yet. We think we are looking at $5K for IVF.

My natural mc (no doctors present), ER room (w/ doc present who told me, "we can't do anything for you", " I don't know what is going to happen"), countless transvag sonograms (each costing $600), bloodwork on an outrageous basis (each tube cost about $100) so that before insurance the bill came close to $10,000 for 2 months. But wait..... The actual doc bills aren't even in yet.

For that type of money, I want the doc to TAKE A GUESS !!!!!!! Charged me $350, for those answers!!!!!

I know what you mean about the money and the hoping to be pg.

Wishing you a BFP very soon!

Well at least you got some answers, and they are going to check into things more with the surgery and the HSG! I wish they had better news for you! I really hope this is your month and then you won't have to go thru all that stuff!!!
