Wow, am i ever having a BAD day! I was cutting watermelon for the boys today. and i was using my husbands butchering knife, i know stupid me..lol..well usually he tells me if he has sharpened them or not. well my hubby is a meat cutter by trade! well i was doing my thing and all of a sudden i looked down cause i had a bad pain, and there was the knife, IN my finger. so i pulled t out, and ran it under water. ran to the medi center, n i had to get 14 stitches. i had just missed the bone! boy am i mad at myself!! now the freezing is coming out and it wont stop hurting! i cant type what so ever! so if u dont see me for a bit that is why..thanks girls

I hope you get better soon. If it makes you feel any better, when I was a chef I picked up a knife on the blade and slit all my fingers open. That was pretty stupid.

oh OUCH!!! My fingers are hurting in sympathy! Years ago one of my uncles was "pretending" to be a gourmet chef and while chopping onions he lost the very tip of his finger!

Well im feeling a bit better..lol..my mom and dad came and took the kids for a few days so i can just relax and heal! so thats always the best! thanks for all the hugs and kind words!
