its' better to bd leadingup to O because spermies can live in ewcm for 5 days.... once you O you only have about 12 hours to catch the eggie..... so it's better to get the spermies heading to where they need to be before hand.....

I have also heard that BD'ing before ovulation is critical because the sperm can live for awhile and you want them there to meet the eggie when it decides to show!

GL catching your eggie!

They also say.....

if you are TTC a girl BD a couple days before O and then stop. For a boy BD right before and during O. Guess the male sperm swim faster than the girls. The girls take it slow and easy and are in it for the long haul. I laugh every time I think about that It sounds kinda silly...but I guess it's true

Ok ladies, but I heard of not bd'ing 3 days before, and then bd away on the day of O is better chances. Also heard the way of sperm meets egg. I have tried both, no luck either way yet, but willing to try it all!! I did hear the the most important thing is to let the sperm build up for 3 days, ha..I don't know!

When we was trying to conceive before my angel we were bding 3 or 4 day out the week. The one month we did conceive we did it every day for the whole month. We caught that eggie . But now were too busy to go at it everyday for 30days plus you lose a lot of energy.

I believe (please correct me if I am wrong) that the only time you should not be BDing everday is if DH has a low sperm count. Then you should only be BDing every other day. Anyone know the truth on that?
