After months of trying my husband and I were thrilled to finally find out we were expecting! It was so amazing to think that I was growing a human being in my womb. I was only 4 weeks and a few days along and yesterday morning I woke feeling a little crampy when I went to the bathroom I was horrified to look in the toilet and see large clots that I had passed. I then began severe cramping and passing clots for an hour and some change....I knew it was over and I can't get over the empty feeling now. I cryed a lot but I am really trying to be positive now. I guess my body knew somthing I didn't and my husband and I are eager to try again. I am going to the doctor this week to have everything checked out but I was wondering how soon others had started trying after a loss?

Just want to let you know we are here for you.. I was 11 weeks along when I lost mine just a month ago.

All of us here understand your pain.

As time goes on it will get easier but you will always remember your baby that you conceived. Just remember it is in a better place
than we are... made it easier for me to get through it.

I am so sorry for you. My husband and I have lost 2 now in 4 months time. Not sure why, but very early on. We were told to go ahead and try right away by the fertility specialist (Dr. Awadalla, best known fertility Doctor in the Greater Cincinnati area). You are supposed to be the absolute most fertile after a miscarriage because you are still secreting higher amoutns of the HCG hormone which in turn helps conception to happen. I will blow lots of baby dust your way. Another question here for anyone to answer, I am new to these abbrevaistion things. BFP? BFN? AF=Aunt Flo, I think.....but what are some others that are common that I will see on here besides TTC (trying to concieve was obvious!) Thanks for any help!

I am so sorry for your loss. I truly am.
As to TTC again, I would bet your doctor will say you can try when you feel emotionally ready. It was an early loss (doesn't make it less hard though emotionally) so your body will probably be Ok right away. Only your Dr. will be able to say for sure...
My heart aches for you, we know your pain.

I just wanted to say I understand what you are going through..... I had a mc and D&C this week I was about 6.5 weeks along and it was our first (we had been trying for 12 cycles). When DH asked my Dr. he said for us to wait for 2 normal cycles.... I think this was due to the D&C, I think (I'm not 100% though) that you can try earlier with a natural mc, but I would wait and ask your Dr.

Again and feel free to pm me with any questions or if you just need to vent

I'm sorry for your loss. I believe that if you m/c "naturally" the doctor usually says you can try when you feel ready, if you have a d&c, then they advise waiting 3 months. Let us know what y our doctor says.

I'm sorry for your loss. I lost my baby at 18 1/2 weeks. I didn't start TTC for a couple of months because dr. orders. Also I wasn't mentally ready. If you're mentally and physically ready you'll know what's the best time.

I just want to send a big thank you to all of you for your love, prayers and support. My husband even came by the computer and commented on how nice it was to have so much caring from you all!
Today has been a much better day for me both physically and emotionally. I think I will be emotionally ready again soon but I will never forget the little beating heart I had inside of me...
