well I don't get them often bc cranberry supplements and Vitamin C and lots of water normally takes care of any irritation before it turns into a uti.
The last time I had a uti it lasted 4 months (i think like 4 yrs ago??) so let's hope they got the right meds right away this time, I'm on something that's supposed to knock it out in 3 days. It lasted that long bc whatever they were giving me was ineffective against it although they did do cultures, so ??? on that. So they asked this time what I had been given last time that made it go away and I couldn't remember and said it should be in my chart, right? They said Urgent Care does not have access to patient records. Now how dumb is that?????
Why don't these $#@%^& things come on during the day on a week day instead of Sunday night when all the pharmacies are closed, and not open today for Labor Day??? They gave me my 1st dose in Urgent Care last night and thankfully the hospital pharmacy is open today so I can at least go there. I can't remember the name of what they gave me but they said no studies have been done on its effects during pregnancy (AF is due on Sept 9th so I'm in the TWW).
make it GO AWAY!!!!! I'm not in as much pain right now as I was yesterday but that might be due to the ibuprofen . . .

Thanks for all the good thoughts ladies!!
I used Azo at the beginning when I had one last time. Wow, that felt weird! It numbed my urinary tract so I couldn't even feel myself peeing! Sure stained the toilet though! Unfortunately, after the 1st time I took it, it no longer had any effect There is a product out there, I think it's called Cystex and that does work for me but I can't find it anywhere anymore except online. Right now the ibuprofen is doing a pretty good job, but the effects don't last long. Not sure yet if I want to go to work or not tomorrow. Oh well, if I don't I can move my hours to another day this week.
