I was just curious if you named your angel? And when? How did you pick the name?

We didn't because we didn't know the sex of the baby. I know it was a girl.... but it wasn't confirmed by u/s. So we never had a name. Not even a nickname

We didn't know the sex, so we didn't really name it however we had come up with our boy or girl name for when it was to be born.
Delaney ellen or Haakon Avery......still going to hold on to the names for next time.....

I named both of mine b/c I just knew their sex even though it was never confirmed. If they can't confirm it they can't disprove it right! LOL! And whenever I am pg I walk around talking to my belly and calling them their names. One day it will bite me in the butt when I actually have a baby and the sex is wrong and I have spent nine months calling the poor baby the wrong name!

I also did not kow the sex of my angel, but from day 1 , I just "felt" as though I was carrying a boy. Mick immediately started calling him "Jr"....since if was going to be a boy he would have been a little Michael Jr.(Mick).
So actually Mick did the naming & it wasn't until well after my loss that I was able to do the same.

We never got to know the sex of ours. And we had a girls name picked out, but now I don't know if I will use that for the (hopefully) next pg. We called each one "Baby H" but I don't know if we'll do that next time either.

Well, being that I was full-term when I lost her, yes we did. Cora Rei Cannady. Cora means "full heart" and Rei means "gratitude" so Cora Rei is "heart full of gratitude." I thought I would be teaching her something with her name, but instead she teaches me. Every time I think about her I think about something I'm grateful for.

I named my angel baby right after I delivered him on October 21. We seen that he was a little baby boy when he arrived. We named him Sullivan II after my fiance because it was his first child.

I lost both so early that I will never know their sex but I name them anyways. I wanted them to have name b/c my are still my children, you know.

Rebeca Lynn 7-30-04

Baby Goose 5-25-07

My daughter named our 2nd angel. When we told her we were pregnant she just said baby goose is in mommy's tummy and it stuck. With both babies their names just started showing up everywhere after I lost them so I think it was God telling me. I would have named our 2nd angel Rose but I just love that her sister named her. It has more meaning.

I am glad I have a name to call my children when I meet them in Heaven, at least I hope that is where I will go.

I didn't officially name it. We believed it was a girl. We had already decided to name it Brooklyn if it was and when it was born. Then after I lost 'her' we kept hearing/seeing the name Brooklyn so in my mind that is her name.

BUT I will say when I get pregnant again and it is a girl.... I will name her Brooklyn.

I found out I was pregnant on mother's day and just KNEW I was having a boy.....Then as my belly grew, it was soooo much bigger than it should've been and then I just KNEW I was having twins....

I went in for an u/s and the drs said that there was only one baby......

A few weeks later, I had another u/s and a different dr confirmed that I was carrying non viable conjoined twins.....

At 16 weeks I delivered my conjoined twin BOYS......and Dh and I named them Asher ("Blessed") and Noah ("comfort")

The original names we had picked out were Aaron Brewer (boy) and Leilani Aryn (Girl)

We are saving those for next time

I didn't know what I was having with the first one so me and Justin had names picked out..

Trinity Grace or Brannon Micheal (8-1-06)

With my last two m/c I didn't get much of a chance with them b/c of thier father but that is a long story.

I have been wondering this same thing? I see so many tickers and it is often difficult to tell if the wks you see that the baby was present are the wks in the womb or the wks they were alive. But this helps answer that question that some of you have named your babes not even knowing what the sex was. I too have just intuitively(sp?) have know with all my pgs what they were. I was right with both my dd and ds so I quess I just assume I am right with my angels as well. I believe my first angel was a girl and never really named her other than calling her Angel. However this time around I was certain that this baby was a boy and even had a dream about reading a book to one of the kids where the character's name was Benzon. The tradition with the names I have given my kids is that they each have a first name that ends in -on. So Benzon fit the scheme perfectly. So that is his name and after giving it thought now I finally have chosen to go ahead and name my angel dd Angelon. Only seems appropriate as we always called her our Angel and then to add the traditional -on to the end makes it perfect.

A couple months ago I decided I needed to name my baby because I was having a hard time dealing with it. I didn't know the sex so I looked up names that would work for both sexes and chose Avery. It has really helped me heal even though my husband things it was wierd so I haven't told him the baby's name yet. I'll tell him when he asks.
