Overall today has been a rather depressing day for me. I haven't really been too emotional for about the last week. Well I went to the gym tonight to get some of it out and next thing I know I am running on the treadmill and a song on my ipod makes me just start bawling. So imagine a woman running, sweating, listening to music and crying. Certainly anyone within ear shot heard me not to mention I was running at the fastest pace the machine goes. The strange thing is it felt really good both the running (which I am an avid runner) and the crying all at once. I must have been at it for a about 10minutes before I finally stopped (crying at least, I kept running).
I didn't even care that I was in public!
Anyone else have a public meltdown?

I've had several. It happened a lot more often before I got pregnant, and even less now that I have Erin. But there have been times that I will be walking through the store and the song playing will just *hit* me.

Or someone will ask me if my daughter is my first.

I think it's normal.

And crying is a very healing thing to do. I always feel better after I've had myself a good hard cry.

I have broke down in public. Most of the time I was with my husband and I'd just make eye contact for awhile and get myself pulled together.

You are grieving.. that is good.

We are here for you.

I was walking through Target with DH last weekend and was fine...even passing the maternity clothes, no problem. Then we kind of walked around and were looking at random junk when we saw the cute little baby outfits for Halloween. I took one look at the little shoes and burst out in tears. DH was really sweet though, he just gave me a huge hug in the middle of the aisle and didn't care if people were looking at us.
