Yesterday, I spent all day staring at the phone hoping the doc would call to give me good news. No call. Today I stayed a little later at work and at 5:05pm, I get a call from the doc's office.... I can start Clomid on day 5, doc called rx in. Tell nurse that day 5 was yesterday... np, start today.
Yippeeeee, I call DH, I need to go to pharmacy, pick me up at work. Okay, we go. Ask for RX.... they are OUT. At that point, I am pulling all the stops so I ask the girl, is there another pharmacy I can go to? She calls another Pharmacy.... they are OUT, not even a partial. I am very upset inside, but I ask nicely if there is any other way to get this prescription filled.
She looks and looks and says ... " I have ONE pill here. I can give you this pill today and tomorrow I will short you a pill. Is that okay?" Can you come back in an hour? I could have kissed her.... I was happy.
Afterward she says, "You know that your Ins. will not cover this med, right? It's $28 or so ... no problem I said.
Come back in an hour to pick up the pill and she says, "Oh, your Ins. will pay for it. Your co-pay is $7."
Well ladies, things are finally looking up. Got a pill, just need to pay $7. Now, I just have to get pregnant this month.
Life is good!
